Recently, a post has been going viral on Twitter in which Korean netizens criticized Cortis Keonho for wearing a hanbok with sagging pants.

The post, which reads, “Don’t sag in hanbok, please,” has sparked mixed reactions across social media.

Some argued that it wasn’t an issue, pointing out that Keonho wears a complete hanbok during official greetings, and these photos are just part of a fashion photoshoot. Others, however, expressed disapproval, insisting that traditional attire should be worn properly at all times.
i wont speak on others culture but sometimes conservative ppl are really annoying. Yk they do the greeting with this proper hanbok first, then modified it with modern fits. others culture also do the same tho and its not that a big deal. https://t.co/thw6F2JUmH pic.twitter.com/SfUd6BxPYX

They actually wore the hanbok in its traditional form. Maybe you should do a little bit of research before criticizing… Anyway, their truly fans loved how they mixed their own style and essence with it. The pics ate https://t.co/KY0Qivrv7b pic.twitter.com/04XlvEeLB5
이게 뭐가 문제여… 전통의 틀에 맞춰서 걍 그대로 머물러있어야하나.. 입는 사람맴이지

Keonho and his group did wear traditional hanboks during their Chuseok greeting, and many fans feel the viral criticism over photoshoots is exaggerated, especially since the feature is part of a fashion article about Chuseok outfits.
The funny thing about this is he’s not sagging his pants , its how he stood that makes it look like that , knetz been trying to find ways to hate on these kids and at this point it’s getting embarrassing 😭. https://t.co/63VTrKpLtp pic.twitter.com/rLS7xMd64M

The controversy intensified when a fan asked AllDay Project’s Tarzzan what it would be like if he himself wore a hanbok with sagging pants. Tarrzan replied,
“Hey, there are times and places. I don’t wear hanbok with sagging either. There are pants that look good with sagging and ones that don’t.”

This response quickly went viral, leading some netizens to accuse Tarzzan of shading the 16-year-old Keonho. Critics questioned why Tarzzan would comment on a minor idol’s attire, especially considering accusations of his own cultural appropriation of Black culture.
he understands the concept of respecting culture when it comes to koreans but not when it comes to black peoples https://t.co/BXFHuPM1gV pic.twitter.com/2gJa0l2wG3

the concept of an idol named tarzzan, who has done nothing but cosplay as a black person, trying to tell anyone about respecting someone culture.. https://t.co/Rc75GkuJYi pic.twitter.com/qc0zdvdGmr

nothing disgust me more than a person with his WHOLE personality being problematic, now talking about some respecting culture how ironic when his constantly showing disrespect on black culture💀the hypocrisy of this man😮💨 https://t.co/C2pqCT6pap pic.twitter.com/V2mkSSu04O

if tarzzan loves to respect his korean culture then why his entire identity is cosplaying as a black person? https://t.co/EsaA2C4LGd pic.twitter.com/Nt4kxspsgw

However, many fans have defended Tarzzan, emphasizing that he was simply responding to a fan’s hypothetical question and did not directly criticize Keonho.
Supporters argue that the viral post misinterpreted his comment and that he never made any statement specifically targeting the young idol.
actin like tarzzan with his busy ass schedules gaf about whoever this person is do you think the world revolves around those lil boys or smth??😭 tarzzan is known for sagging his pants & it’s become a hot topic in kor, so ppl asked if he would sag the hanbok & he said no. simple. https://t.co/2sB1I2FjO4 pic.twitter.com/9f79VdNCgA

The debate highlights the fine line between commentary and criticism in K-pop fashion and raises questions about how idols’ appearances are scrutinized online—especially during lighthearted or fashion-focused content.
