A recent video circulating on Twitter has sparked heated discussions among K-pop fans, claiming that SM Entertainment has restricted its artists from dancing to BTS songs.

The clip shows NCT WISH member Sion at a fan meeting where a fan asked the group to dance to BTS’s “Killin’ It Girl.” He reportedly responded that they wanted to dance too, but due to “SM’s current situation,” they weren’t allowed to.

The clip quickly spread across social media, with fans mocking SM Entertainment and questioning why BTS appears to be singled out. Many criticized the company for acting “insecure” and “bitter,” pointing out that NCT members seemed familiar with the choreography yet could not perform it.
Incase newer armys aren't aware SM tried buying out BTS cuz they were becoming competition for exo… It didn't work so since then there's an added bitterness and vendetta against them😭 SM is well known for sabotaging groups they previously did it with a group called infinite https://t.co/4iDU3vRU4H

So it's actually true that sm has banned BTS LMAO. This boy is gonna get punished so bad.. but it's crazy tho, there's not a single sm grp that's even half as successful as any hybe group so I get the bitterness https://t.co/8bmltQCILP

Others noted that SM has not applied this restriction to other HYBE groups, which they believe highlights the company’s specific hostility toward BTS.
The reaction online has been harsh, with fans calling the situation “pathetic” for such a major company. Comments ranged from “Is BTS really feared that much?” to “This shows how much SM hates BTS.”

The funniest thing is that SM is only doing this with BTS and not with other Hybe groups. It says a lot about the vitriol SM has towards BTS https://t.co/9V0SbSqS4J
