Katseye, a rookie girl group jointly produced by HYBE and Geffen Records, has made a significant impact on the global music scene with their latest single, “Touch.”
The song debuted at No. 22 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart, a list that tracks 25 titles across all genres just below the Hot 100. This marks an impressive achievement for the group, which only made its debut in June of this year.
“Touch” was released in July as the group’s second single, following their debut track “Debut.” Both songs are part of their five-track EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’, which continues to gain traction.
The EP is currently ranked No. 20 on Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 22 on the Top Album Sales chart, underscoring the group’s growing popularity.
Katseye’s presence on the Billboard charts doesn’t stop there. The group has also entered the Artist 100 chart, securing the No. 93 spot, a notable achievement for such a new act in the industry
Formed through the audition program ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’ (2023), Katseye consists of six talented members: Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae.The show, which aired from September to November last year, all of whom have quickly gained attention for their unique style and strong performances.
With “Touch” entering the charts and SIS performing well, Katseye is solidifying its place as one of the most promising rookie groups of the year.
