A video of TXT’s Soobin and ZEROBASEONE’s Zhang Hao being surrounded by sasaengs during their private trip to China has gone viral, sparking anger and concern among fans.
During the Chuseok holidays, both idols were reportedly on a private vacation in China when they were unexpectedly mobbed by a large crowd.
According to the footage, the situation became chaotic as a large group followed the two idols. Security guards were seen trying to hold the crowd back, but things escalated near an elevator when sasaeng attempted to push inside.
In the clip, Zhang Hao grabbed a phone from the sasaeng’s hand in clear frustration and threw it into the elevator. Soobin then picked up that same phone and, visibly angry, threw it back outside the elevator. The sasaengs continued trying to force their way in, while guards worked to stop them.
Fans online have condemned the incident, saying the behavior crosses the line from fandom into harassment. Many pointed out that Soobin and Zhang Hao were off-schedule and on private time, and that nobody deserves to be followed and endangered while on holiday.
As the clip continues to spread, fans are calling for better protection and stronger action against individuals who invade idols’ private lives.
